There are 3 types of entry.

Tabletop Entry:

  • If you are new to the hobby or are more painting for fun than for competitions like Golden Demon, etc.
  • It is recommended that if you spend less than 6 hours on your entry that it should be in here, it is up to you though.

Display Entry: 

  • If you feel like you have a higher skill level and would comtemplate entering into competitions like Golden Demon, etc.
  • It is recommended that if you use advanced things like NMM, OSL, or more than 6 hours on your entry that it should be in here, it is up to you though.

The Others: 

  • These are split into skill level and are more creative categories.

Categories

Just a Lil Guy: 

  • Single miniature. Anything round-about Space Marine sized or under. Around 2" or 5cm max. height, not including things like tall weapons or banners.
  • These are judged on painting quality, composition, and build detail.

Biggest Boi: 

  • Single miniature. Anything bigger than a Space Marine. Over 2" or 5cm max. height. This includes vehicles.
  • These are judged on painting quality, composition, and build detail.

Mounting Deez:

  • Single miniature on a mount. 
  • These are judged on painting quality, composition, and build detail.

Storymode:

  • Dioramas. Any size base, any number of minis. The focus of this category is to create a narrative through your enviroment.
  • These are judged less on painting quality, more on composition and consistancy in painting, build detail, and how well it conveys a story.

2D:

  • 2D art. You will need to upload work in progress photo's. All submissions will be scrutinised for AI use. Any submissions using AI will be removed. Digital and Traditional mediums are accepted.
  • These will be judged on painting quality, and composition.

Frog Themed:

  • Anything painted in the theme of FroggyPhD. Pink and Greens or Red and Whites. This is just for fun and all entries get a discount code for the FroggyPhD UwU Market Store.
  • Will be judged on painting quality, and theme.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the squad category from last year?

The submitted photos for squad "The Lads" last year, were very difficult to judge accurately.

Where do I submit a bust?

Since busts tend to have bigger heads than a Space Marine, they should go in Biggest Boi.
